The year starts off with fireworks, parades, and parties with the New Year's Eve celebrations which take place throughout Florence. This party and the fashion shows held throughout the month of January create an exciting place for a visitor who enjoys the excitement of fashion and the great food and parties that Florence offers.
In February Florence hosts the biggest carnival in Italy. This carnival lasts the entire month and the city is alive with festivals, parties, parades, and street performers.
