Google, Yahoo and MSN are three big search engines. Google is the largest search engine. Its market share is more than 70%. Number of searches on Google is increasing even more. Daily millions of people visit Google. If you can get your website ranked on Google, it means a lot of free traffic. With the rise in the cost of PPC advertising, many webmasters are now turning towards SEO as a means to get traffic.

The most important matrix for an SEO expert is Page Rank (PR). Right now, Google uses PR of a website to rank it on its search engine. If your website has a high PR, it will get more attention from Google in its SERP.

How do you get a Page Rank (PR) that too in as short time as possible? This is my story of how I did it. I got a Page Rank (PR) of 3 from zero in around 2 months. Google values links a lot. Everyone talks about the value of link building in getting a good PR from Google.

In my opinion, no doubt link building is important but Google values good content highly. Content is still the king. Google wants to rank websites on its SERP that have highly relevant good content.

What I have seen is that the Googlebot Algorithm is highly accurate and precise. It can easily discern what the webpage or the blog post is talking about. You should have heard about the LSI patent. Google got that patent a few years back. LSI is the acronym for Latent Semantic Indexing and it does not depend on keywords. Google does not give much importance to keyword density.

Do use the keyword in your articles that you want to be ranked. However, dont take it as the sole criterion that Google will use to rank your site on its SERPs. Googlebot Algorithm can accurately judge the essence of your post or webpage. Then rank it for a relevant keyword that it considers the most relevant.

I think Google likes blogs more than websites as blogs provide daily fresh content. It will be easy for you to get a good Page Rank in a short time with a blog as compared to a website. I have a blog and I write a very good post daily. The post should not be less than 800 words. I do a little link building as well. I write a good article every other day that links back to my blog.

Good content combined with a little bit of link building will get your site from PR 0 to PR 3 within 2 months. I use an article writing service that can create hundreds of unique versions of your articles and then submit them to hundreds of websites and directories looking for content.

A few article submissions every week will make you see your webpage on the first page within the top five positions on the SERP. You can rank any page of your website or blog by using the keyword as the anchor text for the backlinks in the resource box of articles that you submit.
