What is the meaning of like? Scholars have been asking themselves that for the longest time. People have been asking that more-so now more than ever. Where did life come from? Surely there must be some sort of purpose for us. Was there a deity involved? Why are people still so heavily involved with the creation vs evolution debate?

Surely there must be some sort of purpose for us. Was there a Invisible Maker involved? Why are people still so heavily involved with the creation vs evolution debate?
What defines both the theory of creation and the theory of evolution? Is creation even a theory?
This argument is a hard one to pick a side on unless you have always been on one side. The questions asked are nearly impossible to answer in most of the cases since we simply don't know what happened billions of years ago. What is the purpose of life on earth and is there even any purpose at all?
Evolution is the belief that all life evolved from something more simple. It is believed that all life started as single celled organisms which evolved into multi-cellular organisms. These then turned into fish and reptiles and eventually made their way on to land. After this point they than began evolving and dieing and what we have left today are the products of billions of years of evolved species. This theory is the one in which life was not created with the purpose but rather, the principle of creating new life.
The theory of creation is the one where everything was made by a higher power. It doesn't matter what this deity is as long as it was there. It is a belief that revolves around that we were made with purpose and as such will eventually die with a purpose. When it comes to evolution many creationists disapprove of the theory although there are some instances of people believing in both.
Is there nothing more to life but to mate and evolve? Is there a benevolent Invisible Maker who has their watchful eye on us as we go about our daily lives? These are all difficult questions to answer. This debate will go on onto the end of time as there is surely no way to prove either side. The one thing that is certain is that the creation vs evolution debate will be along with us forever.
